Wife was baking potatoes the other night when all of a sudden the oven went blank nothing. it shut off completely I checked the breaker and it was fine
Talked to a friend who said to replace the thermal fuse ,did that , turned the breaker back on nothing still.
I did leave the back off of the oven when I turned the power back on is there a safety switch does the back have to be back on for it to come on ?
If not then what else could be wrong

Here are your parts
Parts for Whirlpool RBD305PDT11 Wall Oven - AppliancePartsPros.com

See the attachment for the tech sheet.

Looking at the wiring diagram you will see thermal fuses close to the elements.
Theses are the ones attached to the back of each oven.
They are not your problem as they just kill power to the elements.

If you look at the upper left corner you will see Control Panel Thermal Fuse.
This one will kill power to the control panel.
It may be blown.
It is usually a bullet shaped device in the power wire going to the power transformer.
I could not find it in the parts so if it is bad you will have to call the parts specialist to get the part number.
they do show it in the tech sheet Page 5 (upper left drawing)

If blown you will have to check to see if you can figure out why it blew.

Once replaced put a oven thermometer in the oven and watch it carefully to see if the unit controls the temperature properly. You do not want to blow a second fuse.

Does the cooling fan run OK.
If the temperature goes high then check the oven sensor.
