I have a refrigerator, that while under warranty (2 yrs ago), the compressor stopped working, and was replaced by technician. Two (2) days ago, it stopped working again. A new service technician came by to check and said it was the compressor again. Now, he asked me to buy the compressor and he will install it for me. Question: #1. Is the compressor already charged with freon? I was quoted $159.98 for the compressor, but was not sure if this compressor is already charged. I was told to join this forum to ask the question. #2. When I buy this compressor, can this be installed by myself? Im not a technician, and don't have the tools. Can I buy the tools?
