Hello,
I am trying to change thermostat P/N 3387134 in my Whirlpool Dryer.
One of the terminal is marked with "X" and I don't know if solid red wire is the right one to be attached to it or red with white stripe on it.
Please advice

As far as I know it should not make a difference as it is AC and these are the cycling contacts.

As far as I know it should not make a difference as it is AC and these are the cycling contacts.

The X is probably there just to tell you that the connections are the contacts and not the internal heater.
