The washer works fine it fills and agitates with no problems when it gets to the spin cycle it drains all the water out but the motor does not come on and it will not spin I removed the front cover and watched it.The motor runs fine during the wash cycle but when it gets to the spin cycle the motor does not turn on

Try it with the belt off and see if the problem is the motor or the transmission.

After letting it run for a few minutes the motor did kick on and it looks like the transmission is bad I found pieces of the bearing in the bottom of the washer and it will spin if i help it to turn but then it just locks up and starts to burn the belt So I guess i'll be buying a new washer after pricing the parts to fix it

That is what I suspected, so good luck with your new machine.
