My dryer just stopped working, I can't get it to come on. I checked the plug and the wire to the dryer and check to see if I was getting power to the motor which I am. I check the door switch, it is ok. But I'm thinking it is the motor since I have power to it, but it won't come on.

Below should get you to the wiring diagram. An open thermal fuse will give you a no run symptom. Wiring information replacement parts for MAYTAG PYE2300AYW | AppliancePartsPros.com

I got it from the two red wires going to the motor. Where is the fuse you are talking about, where is it located and what does it look like? I have looked at the wiring diagram and I can't figure out where it is or what it looks like.

They complete a circuit to make sure the heater only comes on when the motor is running. The thermal fuse is located on the heater element. Below are pictures. They are are sold as a kit with the high limit. If you have a ohm meter you can check them out. They should read closed. Once you get the top lifted you should be able to see them.
