My dryer just stopped working 3 days ago after many years operation. When I turn the timer to Timed Dry or Sensor Dry and then press the Start switch, nothing happens, not even motor humming sound. The only sound is the ticking of the timer and the timer switch is slowly moving in the same way as when the dryer was good. I checked Thermal fuse, Start switch, and Door switch, and they are all good. The strange thing is that, although nothing happens after I press Start switch while timer is in Sensor Dry cycle, the dryer starts to run (motor is rotating and drum is spinning) after the timer moves to the Wrinkle Prevent cycle, so looks like motor and belt are good. But if I manually move the timer switch to Wrinkle Prevent cycle and press Start switch, then nothing happens. Dryer runs in Wrinkle Prevent cycle only when the timer is moving from Sensor Dry cycle to Wrinkle Prevent cycle by itself.
