Our dryer was running when our power went off for about 30 seconds during a rain storm. Now when you push the start button, the dryer starts, but then shuts back off...:( I changed the thermal fuse, but that hasn't solved the problem....

Does it shut off as soon as you let go if the start switch?
Or does is it continue to run for a short period after you
release it?

It shuts off when you let go of the start button, but if you hold the button down it will keep running...could it be the start button or the motor relay?

The start switch is not the problem. Normally I would be able
to tell you with certainty that the motor was the cause of this.
However on this model I believe there is a circuit board that could
cause this problem also. The power outage during the storm could have damaged it.
