HI, I HAVE A PROBLEM WITH THE TIMER KNOB. IT QUIT WORKING, ONCE YOU SET THE KNOB & YOU PULL IT SO THE WATER WILL START TO COME OUT, NOTHING HAPPENS. MY QUESTION IS, DO I NEED A NEW TIMER.:confused:

Use a meter to check and see that you are getting 120v to the timer. if so, then test to see that you are getting 120v to the water valves. If you are not getting 120v to the timer, you probably have a wiring problem. If you are getting 120 volts to the timer but not to the water valves, replacing the timer is a good option, and since it is inexpensive I would see if that does not fix the problem. If you are getting 120v to the valves, then I would try replacing the valves. Good luck
