 My washer fills with water but does not agitate. It does nothing. However the cycles advance.Until the drain & spin cycle. It drains without spinning. The motor does not ever sound like its even attempting to turn on. I have checked the ohms on the magnetic lid switch. Ran the diagnostics came back clean on everything. The status indicator light is not on. I have reset the machine using the reset method for both the older machines and the newer machines. Now what? ANYONE?

The motor fuse is most likely blown if the light on the motor isn’t on. The fuse is located on inline the wires on the right hand side of the machine under some tape. There is a picture on this page that shows where the fuse is http://www.appliance-repair-it.com/GE-washer-repair.htmlIf the fuse isn’t blown or a new fuse doesn’t fix it the motor is bad.
