Refrig had buzzing noise, we unplug the unit ,then plugged it back in, this helped for awhile, then the buzzing was back replaced the overload relay or start relay this helped for a couple of weeks. The buzzing was back again we replaced the capacitor, this help very little. We check the freezer coils and they had ice on them, we defosted and nothing changed. Could it be the thermostat or something to do with the defrost unit and how can we tech it. I have worked on spas for over 30 years have some experience.

Check the back of the refrigerator at the drip pan to see if any of the refrigerant lines comes into contact with it. If there is even the slighest contact, the unit will buzz all the time the compressor runs. It gets worse if the unit is slightly off level. Don't try to force any of the copper lines away from the pan, but find a suitable insulating material to cushion between the refrigerant line(s) and the drip pan.

It's going to be your compressor. Check the compressor for continuity. It sounds as if the compressor is dying. Is the food staying cold in the refrigerator or is it warm? You can also check the evaporator fan as well as the thermostat before you give up, but it sounds like a compressor problem to me:(
