Rank: Member Groups: Registered Joined: 4/3/2023(UTC) Posts: 0		Samsung DV42H5200EW/A3 Dryer makes loud buzzing noise and won't start unless I manually rotate the drum, then run it for a few seconds with the door open and the tab that tells the dryer the door is closed depressed. Then I can close the door and run a load. I have to do this every time I want to run a load. Any ideas what's going on and how to fix it? Thanks in advance.

Its the motor's centrifugal switch that is stuck in "run" and its not resetting to "start" when the motor shuts down. You could try cleaning it or oiling it, but its probably new motor time.
