I have a GE front load washer WHDVH626 and had the belt break. I ordered the belt part # 326. I can get the belt back on fine in its tracks on the motor but once I get it on and spin the drum it tracks towards the drum and falls off of the wheel. The wheel has some chatter in it is the best way I can describe it. I turn the bolt as tight as I can and you can feel it bottom out and the wheel will still wobble. I looked at the assembly diagram and there doesn't appear to be any "spacer' there that could have "disappeared' on me and is now allowing the wheel to move. Also if there was a spacer I think it would just make my problems worse because the belt is already tracking towards the drum and a spacer would just move the wheel farther away from the drum.
On a side note before the belt broke and the washer quit working there was about a week or two where if you put it on high spin it sounded like there was an earthquake in my house. The washer was literally dancing everywhere.
I am usually pretty good at fixing things but I figured I would call in some help before my wife (who has been with out the washer for a week now) calls a repairman.
Thank you for any help you are able to give me.
