The motor sounds like it turning faster then the drum is spining

How do I open the dryer to investigate?

It is easy to get into this model, except for the tight space where you reach in to release the idler pulley. It will take some time, and be sure and note where all the screws go.

This service manual will show you how to remove the top, front and bulkhead to get to the drum.

Sounds like you may have a bad belt.
