I have a Maytag Neptune stackable unit which is probably 15 years old - I love the product.
My first failure was the washer stopped at the first spin and wouldn't move beyond that point.
Replaced the timer and for good measure the wax motor. That fixed the that problem, now the washer always goes into the extra rinse cycle (the extra rinse button is not pushed in) and then does not drain. I manually move the timer to a drain and that drains and unlocks the washer.
To fix this problem, I replace the control board (now I have a timer, controller board and wax motor all from APPs.) but I still have the same issue - goes to extra rinse and doesn't drain.
Any thoughts?
John
