Here is what I want you to do. Open the freezer door, and then flip open the icemaker cover. Look at the fingers that knock the ice out, if they are looking at you, just peering over the horizon of the icemaker the icemaker is good. If not replace the motor module on the icemaker. If all is good there, look up to the right side, and you will see a black hose coming down from the ceiling of the freezer, to the ice maker, squeeze the hose, and see if it is hard. If so, get out the blow dryer and defrost it. If you can squeeze it, it is fine. That problem will occur for 2 reasons. 1- the doors are being opened alot, or the water valve in the rear, needs to be replaced. Either way, defrost the tube, and that will get you by for the holiday. If all is well there, you need to replace the emitter kit. That is the technical name for the part that is blinking. On one side of the freezer is the lazer, and the other side is the reader. Let me know what you find. Tom ApplianceEducator.com - Parts
