I heard a knocking coming from my ice maker but I could not pinpoint the source - There was no ice to be dispensed and no water had filled the chamber - It has been 2 days now with no new ice being made. I am not sure where the problem is with the ice maker It could be in the water supply. The cold water side works. I have heard the knocking sound one other time but not once today:confused:

Remove the head cover from the ice maker. Using an insulated piece of 14 ga wire, short the "T" & "H" test points to see if the motor will start to run. If it would not, replace the ice maker. You have to use the head cover and the shut off arm from the old ice maker. - The ice maker Part number: W10190965
