I replaced the heating element (because I broke it) and cleaned and checked the exhaust which was fine. It takes 140 minutes to dry jeans? Is this sounding like a thermostat?

try taking the vent off the back and try it... if it still takes that long and you're sure it's not clogged with lint...it might be a stat, but i don't replace those very often... almost never. eliminate everything else first.
