Maytag gas dryer LSG7904AAE takes over two hours to dry a small load. The igniter will glow for a few seconds and then gas will come through ok to make a blue flame but then the flame shuts off after 15 seconds and doesn't come back on for a few minutes. So there's heat, but not enough of it to dry a load in a reasonable amount of time.

Any suggestions? Thanks so much for any help you can give.

Probably one of the two coils on the gas valve is at fault.

I will order both now and see if that fixes the problem. Thanks so much!
