Can someone please help!! My dryer will heat but will not come on. I have replaced the motor with a brand new one (maybe a waste of money) and it is still doing the same thing. Has anyone had this problem? Could someone please advise what problem should I be looking for or at least point me in the right direction.

My first thoughts would be that the thermal fuse is tripped, which is keeping it from starting, along with a grounded heating element. If the element has grounded out it would partially heat when the timer was turned on, and it may also have caused the thermal fuse to trip. Below are the parts I mention, in case they end up being the culprit. Part number: AP3094254
