WTF! I went to the AppliancePartsPros.com website, looked up my LG dryer issue, seen what parts were involved and watched the installation videos several times. I decided it was something I could handle, so I ordered the parts. With the installation video nearby on my iPad, I started to remove the top cover. From that point on, it was clear the video wasn't showing installation on my dryer. I still don't know what appliance they were working on, but my LG DLEX8000V is a lot more complicated with much more to remove than what the video showed. Now I'm stuck having to call a repairman after all. Hey APP.com, if you're gonna show installation videos, make one for every model!!!!

I've noticed the same thing. For a more detailed vid when these don't match, try searching u-tube. Sometimes you get lucky.
