the side x side is intermittent on/off , no fans or cooling, but have light. When I tap a screwdriver to the panel just below the Colder fridge knob the fan comes on and cools down.
Any thoughts as to a part fix?

new thermostat installed today and the fridge is working as new. Had to wait a few moments for the new thermo to kick in, then heard the pleasant sound of the fan starting up. thank you!
