The washer will not agitate or spin. It will drain the lid switch I think is good and the coupler is good. I think the clutch or transmission has a problem. I have taken them off nothing look broken. What else could be wrong?

Since it will drain this means the motor is working and the lid switch is ok.
This really sounds like a coupling problem. I would change it out. Sometimes a problem is not visible unless you take it apart.

If the outer case of the clutch is not turning when the machine is supposed to be agitating or spinning then that would suggest the transmission is the problem. If it were only the clutch it would agitate but not spin.
