when I start dryer[gas] it gets hot for about 10 minuets then cools down and won't get hot again unless you wait 15 minutes or more.All the info I have seen points to the igniter / coil area, since it gets heat isn't the igniter working to initiate the heat? If igniter and or coils are to be replaced can someone explain how / where to locate and is it best to replace as an assy, or replace coils only. Steve

Remove the plug (#49 on the diagram) and watch the igniter and flame for awhile. If the igniter glows and then goes off without the falme came on then the problem most likely is a bad coils. If the igniter does not glow at all then igniter is bad. - The coil kit Part number: AP3094251
