The dual element on my stove will turn on fully but will not turn off and on to maintain the desired temp. It stays on full heat no mater what temp setting that I turn the dial for. I replaced the elemen and i replaced the switch. Can this be caused by anything else? If i made a mistake with the wire replacement--could this cause the problem? Thanks.

Here are your parts includes a wiring diagram. Parts for Frigidaire FES367CESB Range - AppliancePartsPros.comHere is a better wiring diagram that also includes a wiring layout. It is the closest I could find to a CESB unit. It is for a CESC. The only difference I can see is the placement of the Hot Surface light. The circuit is the same they just place it to left of the limiter instead of the right. CESB is L2 , LIMITER , HOT SURFACE light , L1 CESC is L2 , HOT SURFACE light , LIMITER , L1 Yes mis-wiring can cause your problem. The wiring layout may help you figure out the proper wiring. |
