Here are your parts Parts for Whirlpool LER4634JQ1 Dryer - AppliancePartsPros.comSee the attachment for the wiring diagram. unit starts heats up and runs fine for about 10 min. and shuts off I am assuming that the unit shuts off not just the heating coil. Is that correct? it can be made to run and work fine by holding the start switch in. When it shuts off can you restart it right away or do you have to wait a while? Having to wait is a a symptom of a motor/drum problem re: the motor is overheating and tripping it's internal thermal protect. You then have to wait for it to cool down so the protect can reset before it will start again. This does not really match your symptoms as holding the start switch in should not have any effect on the above. Does it shut off with no clothes in the unit? My thoughts here is that the latch is bad so the clothes hit the door and open the door switch which shuts the unit off. This would match your symptoms if it restarts right away after shutting down. |
