Spent Thanksgiving working on the dryer so it's only fitting that at Christmas time something else would develop a problem.
The wife washed some fairly heavy carpeted floor mats from the car and our washer had a puddle of water under it after the cycle was complete. I noticed also the washer had some black foam pieces in the drum afterward that was from the mats.
Now when it starts to fill it is dripping near the front center of the washer right away, I've yet to tear into it but thought I would start here, any ideas?
Also we had not to long ago replaced the motor and timer switch (?) i think in this washer.

Front center would put it right under the drain pump. Need to remove the cabinet, defeat the lid switch and observe closely with flashlight to pinpoint the source of the leak while it's running.
