My Frigidaire built-in microwave suddenly stopped working. The timer begins to count down, and the light lights, but nothing else is working. Ideas??

Hi.

Most likely the problem is with monitor switches (switch).
Unplug the oven, remove control panel and on the left side locate 3 switches.

The primary and secondary monitor switches has two wires each. You may have bad switch or burned connector. In any cases replace both.

Run the continuity test. With one wire off:
Door closed - continuity, door open - no continuity.

Replace bad switch.

OK. I tested both switches. Got continuity in both of them. Now what?

Hi.

Did you removed the switches for testing? You suppose to check them in the place and actually open and close the door.
What tab is broken?
