I have a dryer (GE DWXR473ET3WW) which has started to squeal when in use...it comes and goes. I think it may be the drum rear bearing but could anything else squeal like this such as the roller(s) or the drive unit? Thanks

The drum rides on platic glides on the front and a drum bearing on the rear. Typically the dryer will squeal when the plastic bearing gets thin and starts making metal to metal contact between the metal drum and the mount. To replace the bearing you remove the drum and get the old bearing out (it is plastic and easily removed) then install the new bearing. Easy peasy.
