So my dryer will run for about 15 minutes without the heat kicking in, not sure why, before it gets a error and all the right side panel lights blink and it stops. I have taken my meter to it (my first time using one, hopefully correctly) to check for continuity. Seems the thermostat and limiter both get a reading of 1, the heating element a reading of 12 and originally the thermistor a reading of zero. Just replaced the thermistor, which had a chip out of it and seemed to have exposed element, with a new one and it still does not work. Where do I go from here?
Thanks in advance T

Okay the dryer outlet is reading 240 as well as the plug terminals at the dryer itself. I also threw my breaker ahead of time and still no heat. The error code that comes up is E5.
I see the solution part of the tech sheet, but am unsure of where the heater relay is located to test.
Thanks for the help Gene.

Check the high limit thermostat (#33 on the diagram) for continuity. If the high limit thermostat is open, replace it. If it's good, replace the control board. - The high limit thermostat Part number: AP2131477

I get a continuity reading of 001. So I guess its the control board, figures that it has to be the expensive part. Thanks for your help though!

Hey Gene,
Just wanted to say thank you again. It was the control board as it turned out that the plastic around the red and black wire connections were burned and melted. I put a new control board in and the dryer runs great.
Thanks! Travis

You are welcome Travis. I'm glad it's up and running.
