My whirlpool dryer is not longer getting hot (I know it's a common post). I think I diagnosed the problem as the heating element. The reason being, I checked the contunity of all the other connections. Is there a specific way to check the element? Thanks for your help and patience. Gary

Remove it and look at it!!!!! If it looks ok, Check the circut breakers in the house, Must have 240V to the dryer to get heat.:)

Thanks will do. Is there anything in particular I should be looking for, or will it be obvious? It was working fine up til 2 days ago. But I'll check the breaker.
Thanks for your quick response. G
