whirlpool dryer will not heat properly. The heat will stay on for a little while and then kick off. It will do this for the whole cycle. It had no heat to begin with, so I replaced the ignitor. Didnt help, turned out it was a thermal fuse. Now it has this problem. Could it be the heat selector switch or the gas valve coils?

If the heat stays on for a little , and shuts off, and then comes back on for a little and repeats this process, you most likely have a clogged vent. Pull the dryer away from the wall if you can, and take the vent hose off the back of the dryer, and see if it works fine. If so, you have to clean the vent tube to the outside of the home.
