The dryer appears dead nothing works on the control panel. I did all the diagnostics and felt sure it eas the control board so I replaced it and still nothing happens

(a model number would be a great help) If it's an electric(220 VAC) dryer, did you check and make sure you have 220 VAC to the dryer outlet (reset the breaker a couple of times and re check the voltage). Most of that type and brand dryer have a "thermal fuse" on the blower assembly, that opens and turns the power off to the control, that is a "one shot" fuse and will need to be repalced if it is open, it also indicates that you had a heating problem. With a model number we can give you more accurate information and get you up and running. Thanks, :) :) :)
