Yesterday the timer didn't advance. We moved the knob to short wash and it did finished. Unfortunately, today it happened the same thing. It stayed in wash cycle for hours. We assume that the internal timer is the only thing that can create this problem right? Is anyone knows the part number for the timer and if there is any instructions how to install it?
Thanks. :)

The first time that this happen the "high temp wash" was on. We turned off and moved it to short wash and the cycle was finished. The 2nd time that happened it was on "normal wash", no "high temp wash". When I opened the door after I realize the timer was not moving, the dishwasher was hot, the soap was not there, and it looked that the dishes were washed!!! Should and how can I check if the incoming water is hot?
Thanks for your reply :)

Here is your parts breakdown Model GSD3220Z02BBIs probably the timer unless the lights on the door were out then it is probably a door switch just making contact. Fairly simple to replace just remove the inner door liner and you will be see. One thing to watch and/or make yourself pictures is how the cam and lever are hooked up to open your soap dish. Note where the spring attaches etc. A digital camera can also help here. |
