Heats erratic. 90% of time does not completely dry clothes Occasional ok.
Have done the obvious. Clean lint trap. thoroughly clean trap compartment and exhaust vent to outside. Local vendor advised to change the main thermostat (one on blower housing with 4 wires to it) does not show much improvement. Any suggestions?

WB Carlyle:confused: WB, Did you check the vent hood for proper flapper operation ? Did you check the tumbler seals(front and back for tears or missing areas ? You may want to check or replace the hi limit thermostat, if all other things have checked OK . (if the dryer has been cycling on the limit switch, it could be weak). Also check and make sure the tumbler is rotating properly (48 to 52 RPM). Good Luck Happy New Year :) :) :)
