Dryer works but Timer will not advance.
My original problem was dryer would shut down in mid-cycle and not start in either moisture control and timed cycle. I changed the timer and now the dyer works but will not advance in either timed or moisture control cycle.

Hi Dave, The problem could be a bad timer motor, a bad moister sensor or a bad control board. Perform the troubleshooting as described in the Service manual (page 3-16). Here are the break down diagrams for the Maytag Neptune stacked laundry unit Model MLE2000AYW. Gene.
