Any help would be appreciated. Is it difficult to install a thermostat in a frigidaire affinity dryer?

Model number is AEQ6000ES2. The dryer is running extremely hot, cleaned all of the venting inside and out. Was told that the thermostat is most likely bad. Was told that the thermostat is part number AP2131477. Thanks for any help.

Remove the top panel by removing the two screws in the rear and sliding the top back 1/2" and lift the top off.

Disconnect the two wires and remove the two screws holding the thermostat to the heating element assembly.
