My wifes dryer wont heat up. I pulled off the back cover and when I went to check the continuity on the element this is what I got:
When I touched the leads to the conectors for the heating element it showed continuity.
When I touched the leads to the heating element wire just up from the conectors it showed no continuity (open).
Does this make sense? I am pretty sure it is the element but I just want to order the correct part.
Thanks, Todd

Test the element by removing the wires at the connectors. Also test the thermal cuttoff the same way. That will tell you if one of them are bad. Nat
