washer leaks water when it starts to agitate. can anyone help me?:(

Pull the front panel and tell us where it is leaking. If a vinyl tub with leaking tub seal, it's not worth fixing.

leaking between agiater and transmission. is there a seal that could be leaking and if so do you have to drop the transmission?

You can go to web site www.applianceaid.com for repair info on this rather difficult job to replace the tub seal/bearing.
