Water drips into the basket/tub when not in use......at first it was quite minimal but is gradually getting more water.........in one week about an inch of cold water accumulates in the tub.
I live in Baja California where GOOD repair people are relatively hard to find although there are dozens who CLAIM to be experts. Before I have anyone come in to repair it I would like to get a handle on the problem so I don't get ripped off or have the machine further damaged........both highly likely prospects.
Thank you.

If it leaks with the washer turned off, replace the dual water solenoid in the back where the inlet hoses go. You can get it at this site, have good prices.

Thanks for the msg. I had a call from a guy in California thanking me for one of my articles, he wanted to pay me something, but I said his call was all I need, it made my day.
