The power is on but the washer control panel stays at 28 minutes and the stop/cancel display does not clear the panel. I installed a new Electronis Control board I purchased from you, but the problem remains. What part should I order next:confused:

Well, sorry that did not fix things, but see if you can put the machine in diagnostic mode, which you should be able to do since your main board is ok.

Here is the tech sheet that will tell you how to do it.

I can not view the tech sheet you sent me on 9/24/2010 so that I can put the Whirlpool washer GVW9959KQ0 in diagnostic mode. It was a great help. Can you please email it again to zzdoc@msn.com, thanks

The reason you cannot get that sheet is that Whirlpool has eliminated access to their tech library unless you are willing to pay big bucks.

See if a tech sheet is inside the console, and if not, call Whirlpool and get them to send you one and while you are at it, register a strong complaint that they will not make tech info available to you so you can fix your machine.
