GREETINGS,
I have a whirlpool side/side, mod ED5GHEXNQ00. No ice, pan empty. freezer is at zero degrees. I used a jumper wire to diagnos: V and L.... no water, no ice blocking tube. I thought I'd make it run an cylcle just to be sure jumper was working , so jumped T and H, Still nothing, no cycle no sound.
So I'm not sure it needs a water valve. Is there a fuse for the icemaker?
Thoughts?
Thanks

My Whirlpool icemaker stopped as well. No water, icemaker not moving, not able to jump any of the letter combinations on the icemaker and get a response.
Check the sensor light on the right side of your door. I was told this gives power to the icemaker. Mine blinks twice then stops, repeats. When I push the flap on the left side so that the 2 sensors make contact, it still blinks. I was told this means the sensor is bad. It should stay on solid at this time. I ordered it and will have it in by Mon-Tues.
