Here are your parts Replacement parts for WHIRLPOOL YRED4300SQ0 29" Electric Dryer | AppliancePartsPros.comHere is a wiring diagram http://www.servicematters.com/docs/wiring/Wiring%20Sheet%20-%208528188.pdfWhen you say it is stopping, can you restart it right away? I am assuming that by stopping you mean it shuts off. How do you restart it? If you have to wait a couple minutes before restarting then odds are it is a motor problem. The motor is overheating and tripping it's internal thermal protect. You then have to wait till the motor cools down and the thermal protect resets before you can restart the unit. Try turning the drum by hand, it should turn fairly easily if not it may be overloading the motor. You may want to try this on a couple other dryers just to get a feel for it. Could be the motor is on it's last legs. Could be something as simple as the door latch and clothes are hitting it and opening the door switch shutting the unit down. If it always happens at a certain point on the timer the it could be the timer. |
