Although the facia panel was lit up, my dryer would not start when pushing the start button. A repairman replaced the control panel and it worked for a few minutes but then stopped. Again the facia panel is lit up, but the start button does not seem to work. Could it be something in the selector/display module? Any ideas? Thank you.

Did it show any error code? Did any light(s) have been flashing after the start button depressed?
