Side by side refrigerator door won't close but freezer door closes fine. Tried to adjust hinge but no luck. Can it be the door gasket?

There are two cams at the door hinge one mounted on the door hinge and one mounted on the door. If one or both of the cams are broken the door will not close properly. What that cam does is lift the door up when you open it so that when it closes it falls into place so to speak. That is the most common problem but yes if the door gasket is hanging it could cause the problem. Refrigerator Door Repair Guide
