Rank: Member Groups: Registered Joined: 8/16/2008(UTC) Posts: 1		I have a GE King Load Capacity washer. After spin cycles the drum has oil streaks in it. It is getting on all the clothes, linen, etc. and ruinning everything. Does anyone know why, what it is and how to fix it? Can it be repaired by us or do we need a professional repair person?

Rank: Member Groups: Registered Joined: 9/10/2008(UTC) Posts: 2		This doesn't sound good, but I finally figured out that the streaks of grey must indeed be specks of oil during the spin cycle, whipping around and ruining every piece of clothing in the load!! I have a Maytag LAT8204AAL. Any ideas on what I may need to look into repairing???

Of course we would pull off all good parts, (i.e. timer, motor, etc.) in case someone else needed those parts and couldn't afford new. Nat
