Hello
I have a GE TFH24PRSBAA Refrig.
Freezer is freezing up, Refrig gets warm.
How do I determine if the problem is the defroster thermostat or the defroster heater?
Thanks in advance for your responses.

Turn the defrost timer till everything cuts off. If the heater comes on the problem is your timer. If it doesn't come on, check if for continuity with an ohm meter or inspect it for burns. The defrost thermostat should read closed when cold and open when warmer with an ohm meter. Your timer is part 257 on diagram 4. Replacement parts for GE TFH24PRSBAA | AppliancePartsPros.com
