I have posted this question on the Appliance Pros "Ask Question" web, but never received an answer after a couple of days and a resubmittal. Please someone answer! With the door closed, there is no response and no lights on the panel after pushing any buttons. Using schematic 134236400 B the following voltages are read at the back of pins of the connectors at the control panel: J11 8.1 (blk) and J11 8.8 (gray) are both 120 V. All other readings are zero except J6 C7.7 which reads 69 V. Does zero volts at JX 4.2 (blk/red) indicate a bad door switch assembly? If so, would this cause a totally dead panel or is the control panel also bad?

Here are your parts Parts for Frigidaire FWTBB30DS0 Washer - AppliancePartsPros.comSee the attachment for a wiring diagram that comes up when I search the Frigidaire site. You could double check this by unplugging the unit and measuring across it using resistance, should be 0 ohms when closed. If so, would this cause a totally dead panel or is the control panel also bad? I do not think so but am not 100% sure. The operators manual is sort of useless. You could check this out by unplugging the unit and shorting the two wires to the switch together. Tape them so they cannot short to anything else. Then plug t in and give it a try. |
