I noticed my ice tray was completely full. I may have been for a while we don't always use a lot of ice. I dumped it all into a cooler. Since then my ice maker has not made any ice. The trays are empty. The arm is down and seems to be functioning properly. There were a few small ice chunks in the fill hose. I blew those out. I read your article on jumping my ice maker but don't really understand how to do it. Do I need to jump it? Should I try it now that my fill hose has been blown out? Is my ice maker broken? The ice maker itself is only 2 years old.

I would manually add water to the ice mold and see if it starts cycling after it dumps the ice. If it doesn't refill with water try swapping the wires on the dual water inlet valve. Then try the water dispenser. The water should go to the ice maker. This will tell you weather or not the ice maker valve is working and if the line is clear
