I've read a bit about this clicking sound. Posts seem to point to a bad main board. However, here is why I'm creating this new post....
I cleaned out the bottom / coils and the little white condensor fan as well.
Plugged it back in and it started working. It worked well over night but today morning the clicking started again.
When it is clicking, the inside lights do not come on and it does not cool.
I'm guessing its overheating and the relay is doing its job correctly by protecting the compressor. When it cools down, it works again.
Question: SHould I simply replace the condensor fan motor or should I replace the motor and the board?

You can try a portable fan to cool the compressor, but I think you may have an external power problem, the control board does not control the lights.
