Quite a bit of water leaks out of the bottom of the washer after the wash cycle as it starts to pump the waste water out to the sump pump. Sump pump was in a plastic trash can but we paid to have it put in the floor (in the unfinished basement concrete floor). The pump was installed about a year ago and the leaking is a fairly recent thing. I have checked to make sure the washer is level. And the guy who installed the pump has verified that it is working. The washer leaks quite a bit and then the remainder of the water is pumped up and out the drain hose to the sump pump tank.

Upon further inspection this water seems to be coming from the top of the washer down the inside of the back panel because I can see some coming out of a couple of round holes in the back panel. Also some water splashes up through the lid and onto the control panel.
